We are so excited it’s Friday and are looking forward to the long Memorial Day weekend! Do you have any fun plans? Whether it’s going to be a weekend full of fun or just a regular one at home, check out some of our favorites from around the web to help you start your celebrating on the right foot! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy!
Happy Wednesday, wonderful readers! We are officially on beach time now and loving every minute of it. Well, except for the unpacking. All the unpacking… I hate packing. So much. I hate unpacking even more. Probably mostly because of the harsh reality that I will have forgotten something crucial. Like how I have three eyelash curlers but not a single pair of my son’s tennis shoes. (I’m currently FaceTiming with my husband who, when I answered, said: “I’m just calling for the list of things you forgot.” #truelove.)
Anyway… This fabulous Brookhaven Cottage is much more together than I am, thankfully. The entryway in this amazing home is like a sneak peek of what is to come. The on-trend agate lamp and sea glass beads juxtapose perfectly with the antique mirror and painting. The rest of the house is just as awesome. But don’t take our word for it! See for yourself!
Laid-back luxe is how we describe Lauren Nelson’s fabulous designs in two (ish) words. One look at this chic vignette and you can see what we mean!
We are so excited because, at our house anyway, summer is here! Everything feels fresh and new and alive. And we don’t have to wake up early for school! That’s perhaps the best part of all. With all the energy and fun that summer brings with it, we think it’s the perfect time for a small summer spruce.
We hope you have a wonderful, relaxing, fun-filled weekend that includes a little shopping . To get yourself in the weekend state of might, take a peek at some of our favorite fun finds from around the web. We just bet there may be something you can’t live without! Happy weekend, friends!
We’re feeling blue this weekend–in the good way!
Good morning, lovely readers! Are you having a good week? We are… except for one tiny detail. Yesterday, I had my first really epic fail as a parent. Or, well, I’m sure I’ve had lots of epic parenting fails but this was the first time that my son was old enough to really notice my massive failure. So that’s a new thing. And, let me tell you: It’s not great.
Happy Wednesday, friends! We can’t believe that May is flying by so quickly. Today is my little guy’s end of the year picnic at school, and it’s sort of bittersweet. While I can’t wait for summer, it’s hard to believe that this is his last week of half-day preschool. Time flies! We feel like it was yesterday that we were plotting out how to decorate the nursery.
