There is nothing like the feeling of your feet sinking into a pile of soft, warm flokati, especially on a chilly winter morning. While white on the floor can seem like a bit of a risky move, especially in your more public spaces, the payoff is an elegant, slightly whimsical look reminiscent of fresh snowfall. |

Filling up your living room with flokati might be a little overzealous for newbies, but the effect is so luxurious. That's a floor you could curl up and take a nap on!

We're big fans of using flokati as an accent piece. It's a great way to get the look without covering the floors below -- or breaking the bank! |

We love the idea of flokati in the bathroom, but I wonder if the fibers would get all stuck to your wet feet? |

Wonderful picks - I especially like the rooms from Design Travellers. And that Palmer Weiss would be a teenage girl's dream!1
So pretty and eclectic! I especially love the room with the the turquoise chests by Design Travelers...such an interesting room, though all are beautiful!
Gorgeous interiors! I adore flokatis...I recently put my parents vintage flokatis in my living room. I had them in my bedroom for years, but I like to move stuff around for interest, so maybe next year they'll be in my son's room...who knows!
yes yes yes yes yes!
All rooms are gorgeous. It wouldn't be here if they weren't, right? :-) But my favorite is the first one. How not to fall in love with that?
I hope you guys have a very blessed week, my friends!

They all look great!
yep, want one..or two...
* Hi! When we lived in Germany in the 70's (yes, I'll admittedly "date myself" here, but just for the sake of accuracy! Smiles!), many of our friends got "into" flokatis... some of us even went to Greece to tour, AND also buy them... I don't know if you said it, but these WEAR VERRRRY WELL & WASH UP beautifully (you can take them out to your patio & hose them well & "air dry", & they look fab AND are clean! OR< just send them to the cleaners to be WASHED in their big machines~~~)...
I got rid of ours over the years, only to buy one a FEW years ago for the sitting area in our MBR... I/we loved it... It felt almost "retro" to me, but to alot of our guests who tour the house, they think they're a "FAB NEW DECORATING ITEM"!!!
Happy Monday!

Wouldn't that feel good to have your feet hit one first thing in the morning?!

Soft underfoot....great with any decor! Ahhhhhhh.....
Love the last 3 bedrooms. And that nickel tub is my dream. Priced it once---and it came in around $13,000 :-(. One can always fantasize!

As a child. my cousin had this rug in her room...we loved to sit and play on her floor. Nice memories.

They look wonderful, but I would never dare to have one myself. Would be nervous about what could be hiding in it?! A small one perhaps, like in that last image. Chic and cozy!
Happy new week to you lovely ladies.

Oooh, I'd have one by the bed - the first thing my feet touch in the morning! Those images from Design Traveller are fabulous.

I am in the middle of an office day, and all I can think of is to sink my feet into one of these. What an high it would be! Lovely, enticing pictures.
They look so comfy and cozy.....want one. Especially after I read that they were easy to take care of.
Gorgeous! Love all of these rooms! It would certainly be great to step onto this on a cold Winter's morning! xo
Warm, cozy & elegant......why wouldn't you want one? :) LOVE the calming gorgeous room from Traditional Home. xo
It looks so soft and that bath in the first image amazing! I have always wanted a flokati but I’m afraid it might not last long around our golden, beautiful though and they work everywhere.
You're right, it's one of the best feelings. I have one in my shoe and coat closet and I can't wait to go in an step on it.
P.S. Lovely images.
I didn't know Pottery Barn had a flokati! My mother-in-law has always had one in her bedroom. They never go out of style.
Sooo glam and luxurious in any room!!
Cozy and stylish.
The images are gorgeous.
