Beaufort House Update: Seeing the Light

Hi, friends! We hope you all had a wonderful Monday. We didn't get to Beaufort this week, so not much to report, but, the good news is, that means double progress for next week! One of the first things we need to pick for the house is the light fixtures, and we have a few things that we're considering.
For the kitchen, these clean, simple, white pendants with silver on the inside are one of our possible picks.
But we also are partial to sleek, chrome fixtures like these, especially since we're thinking of using this kind of bar stool. We love funky pendants like the Alvarium ceiling pendant at Mail Order Lighting.
Another cool pendant choice for the kitchen. This one is a little more rustic.
These are so gorgeous! Which would you pick for your kitchen?
We're pretty set on this driftwood sphere for the living room. It adds that rustic, beachy touch while still being fabulous.

We are thinking of this oyster shell fixture for the dining room. The intricate detail of it is amazing.
This gorgeous shell chandelier is one of our favorite choices for the entrance hall.
Aren't these great for the downstairs master? A splash of gold is always fun!
Thanks for stopping by and following our progress.

What gorgeous lighting fixtures. I am "liking" that first one for the kitchen, but I also love the last ones, the globes! Is that silver on the top?
The chandeliers are all out of this world oozing with beauty and character! Fabulous!

I am just so impressed that you have done so much! so great to share in the process:) Love your pics, for the kitchen, the first is a nice strong piece, and lends more industrial vibe...whereas the rest have an earthy element...sometimes a big statement is made with only one piece. Whatever you choose, it will be perfect! Have fun!

ha! ps:) also love that the inside looks to have a gold lining which hints to your master bedroom idea... kinda like white megaphone with glam...o'k thats not very industrial! But anyway....xob

I have the first ones (Goodman Hanging Lamp) in our kitchen (but in antiqued nickle), they are by Visual Comfort, the interior is not silver though, it is hand rubbed brass...they are spectacular and come in 3 sizes...adore them! The round ball ones (Hicks Pendants) are from VC as well, the Hicks, also comes in 3 sizes and a few finishes, I used them in our mud room and people always comment on them. You can't go wrong with anything by VC, I use their lights in all of our homes!! Good luck, those are some amazing selections!!!

Lighting is so much fun,and there are so many possibilites! Like the first one the best, Currey also makes this wicker/seagrass looking pendant lantern which I helped a friend choose for her beach house and I have to say it was amazing! Love the "shell" influenced lightings too! So exciting.

I used a Hudson Valley Lighting pendant like those in the 2nd photo over my sister's kitchen sink and love that look. I also have the Visual Comfort Hicks pendant in the 4th photo (in a different finish) in the small entry of my summer cottage and love it! I use either of them again.

Good luck selecting lights! Sometimes they tend to be hard, but I know you will select some fabulous fixtures!! Love all the fixtures you showed here, and I loved that turquoise pantry door (I know that wasn't what we were looking at but it just popped).
