New York, New York!

Start spreading the news… We had the most amazing time in NYC last weekend and checked off our Christmas lists once and for all! The shopping is always great, of course, but nothing beats the over-the-top holiday decor. Have you ever seen anything like this splenor at Henri Bendel ?

Oh my goodness… It’s an empty display at Harry Winston! Will must have gotten it all for me :)
I’ve been looking for the perfect “animal bracelet” for years. Do you think this one from Bulgari is over the top?
We’d like a whole flock of these luscious peacocks as a part of our Christmas decor. All of the windows are amazing, but the ones at Bergdorf are always our favorite…

Sometimes we feel like we’re in the circus, but this poor woman really is… Maybe if we get little Will a puppy for Christmas she can train him too! We hope you are all having a great week and, admidst the chaos, are able to enjoy this wonderful holiday season!
When you’re doing your holiday shopping, don’t forget to check out Jamie Shop for all the “Nice” boys and girls on your list! And maybe pick up a little something for yourself… Use the code DESIGNCHIC2012 for up to $500 free shipping!

Thank you for posting these images!! Since going to NYC 2 years ago at this very time, I now know exactly what you mean about those windows. Like nowhere else in the world! (Sorry London and Paris, but just not a match….!!) So if I can’t be there in person (sigh, cry) then these are quite fabulous as a way to see what they look like. And the white peacocks window….oh the glamour, the glamour, the glamour!! xx

I also remember being amazed by the beauty of the New York window dressings. Simply stunning! When we there, there was an Alice in Wonderland styled window that I could have looked at for hours! Hope you’re having a wonderful time xx
