House Tour: East Hampton Cottage

If you're like us, taking a peek inside a stranger's home -- especially when it's as gorgeous as this one -- is always a welcome treat. Today we're sharing a little warm-weather inspiration with Patricia and Jeffrey Fisher's East Hampton Cottage. A total redesign of a charming cottage created an amazing home that would make us wish the weekends were never over.
Everything about this kitchen is fabulous, but we have to say the simple vase of fresh-cut hydrangeas caught our eye immediately.
Creamy neutrals with touches of blue is such a classic color palette. It's definitely one of our all-time favorites.
This tiny nook is so well done. It looks like a great place to grab a quiet moment alone.
The elements of this bedroom are beautiful, but also have that relaxed, casual, weekend home feel. Never fussy or overdone.
We love a sweet chair in the bathroom. When you're on vacation, relaxation can happen anywhere!
What a beautiful breakfast spot. We'd want to linger with that stack of books all day long!
We love the look of an entrance table in the middle of a room. Putting inconspicuous stools under it increases the style and functionality for dining, resting or extra cocktail party seating.
We would never, ever leave this porch. Outdoor living rooms are always our favorites, and they're even better when they're as beautifully manicured as this one!
What an idyllic spot to watch the clouds float by...
We hope you find a moment in your day to do just that! Thanks for visiting us today!

Great home with great color choices. I love the little window going up the staircase. I wanted to do something like that at one time but was vetoed. Now regarding the bathroom with the chair, I have been looking for white sinks with two legs in the front for some time and have been unsuccessful. I find them with more contemporary design, or they are too narrow. Still looking for "the one" if anyone has suggestions. -Tonya

Ahhh - could that home be more perfect? I saw your pins earlier and re-pinned some already. So pretty!

One of the best examples of a Hampton "Cottage" I have seen. The Breakfast Nook is lovely. I adore the idea of the entrance table with the stools in the middle of the room, very clever!

I also wouldn't mind "peeking out" from any one of those rooms into that fantastic backyard!

There are so many facets to this home that I love, most of all the use of lots of white painted woods with the splash of blue. I love the garden and the exterior of the home as well. Very nice...I'm eager to see your beach cottage.
