One of the things we are most excited about at our current renovation project in Beaufort, NC is the new screened porch that will be there soon!

So many elements make a screened porch feel like that enviable outdoor living room. We can't wait for ours to be filled with sand buckets, bouncy balls and those crucial bubbles!
On a beautiful summer day, nowhere compares to the screened porch for a yummy brunch...

The rustic charm of a screened porch is absolutely unbeatable.
We hope you're all having an excellent Monday!

We love our screened porch there is no better place for a summers nap. We didn't paint our screen porch ceiling blue but we did our front open porch. The blue paint is suppposed to keep bugs away in New England, doesn't work so we painted it white.

Another great post! I'm considering purchasing a house with a great screened porch and now I have so WONDERFUL inspiration!
Nothing could be better than a charming screened porch, these are beautiful and make me anxious for the warm weather!
Every time we visit my inlaws down south, I come home wanting a screened in porch! What a perfect place to spend the day! Love all your examples.

We have a small screen porch which we are going to be expanding this year so that we can put a dining set and a few lounge chairs there and start to use it more. With our mild weather we can probably get a good 8-9 months of the year out of it. Great examples you have shown here, have to show my husband.
Don and I hope to be downsizing soon. And my #1 requirement? A screened in porch. We do not have one now, and I miss this spot more than any other!! xo

Loving the cosy coach, such a beautiful inspiration for a relaxing time at home! xo
We don't have screened porches in So. Cali....at least I have never seen one....i guess there isn't a need for one.
A screened in porch would be lovely and these are perfect examples!
A screened in porch will be divine! Wish they were popular here, but I think the winters are too harsh =(
Love all the porches..The one that inspired me the most ---the one with the garden stools. They are so perfect inside and out!!!
You both find the most beautiful images!!
I love a great porch and totally agree with you...the ceiling should always be blue!
A blue ceiling is a must! I have a lovely front porch but the mosquitos can be a bit overwhelming at times...I'm constantly wishing for a screened porch.
I absolutely love all of the pictures! Like I always do. Great inspiration, again!

Beautiful images! Makes me want to move south (as I look out the window at the mountains of snow still on the ground). LOVE a screened porch!

So true, I wish I have a screened porch, keeps all those nasty bugs away too!
I love the photos you chose for the porches! Nothing welcomes spring and summer better!
Have a great week!
Fondly,
Jamie
Beautiful photos! Thanks for the inspo!!
I did pin one of the photos and will save this whole post in my future project file...loved how the columns were used in a couple of the pictures.
I love these outdoor rooms. The antique sliding barn style doors are fabulous and I especially like the setting with the 2 turquoise garden seats.
Please fix me a mint julep!
