Such cute pictures...I've been searching for a birdcage but with no luck, hopefully soon. Oh, and the first picture: love the slated wood walls.

They are all so pretty! The Four Seasons in Maui had the most amazing one out by one of their fountains. Two birds, Ricky and Lucy, shared the large cage. I'll see if I have a few photos and I'll send it to you!

Such beautiful images and you always amaze me with the number of images you can find of one item. Love the birdcages and this post offers up so many ways to use one. Happy Friday!

The fourth photo of the three birdcages, I like the top birdcage with the palm tree. I like birdcages, too and that one I'd have in a quick minute.

Birdcages have great architectural detail, and add wonderful character to a room. I think we're drawn to them because our inner child identifies a beautiful birdcage as the 'adult version' of a dollhouse!
Great post!

Just love birdcages!! A wonderful decorative element. I was at someone's house in the country recently who had a fabulous birdcage (avec bird). Totally charming!

Oh yes, LOVE birdcages. I almost bought an antique one when I was in France years ago. I couldn't transport it with me though and shipping was so costly that I passed. That haunts me still today! I can remember it vividly!

I just discovered your lovely blog and I look forward to popping by again for some more inspiration! I've just put the finished touches on my new blog ‘Coastal Style’ It will have lots of inspiration on beach houses, resortwear, summer food, travel and anything ‘beachy’. I had a lot of fun putting it together so maybe you would like to check it out if you have a spare minute.

Birdcages: one of those things my hubs just wouldn't "get", so I am unlikely to ever have one. Sure looks great in these rooms though. And, btw, one would look fab in the room I show on my blog today. It would be a great accessory-- wish I had thought of it!

Wonderful Post!
I have always dreamed of having a conservatory with birdcages hanging at all different heights…of course someone would have to clean the cages ;)
Happy Monday,

me too! If I ever stumble upon a vintage one at a good price I will most definitely scoop it up. I saw this one Eddie Ross did where he filled it with plants. It was absolutely adorable.

I have 2 beautiful matchstick birdcages that I acquired almost 30 years ago. My hubby doesn't get them either, Decor Arts, but I had them before I had him so...
